OCTO EDGE
OCTO MESH offers local proxy services that securely connect local systems to the central OCTO MESH components (cloud and on-premise) in order to capture data from a wide range of endpoints.
Such OCTO EDGE instances connect to one or more local Modbus servers via Modbus, for example, and form the local version of the digital twin.
OCTO EDGE instances can be operated fail-safe in clusters, run on dedicated hardware as well as on shared devices and scale as required.
OCTO EDGE is completely managed via the central OCTO MESH Administration and secures all communication between the respective data points in the company and the OCTO MESH platform.
This means that even previously unsecured components can be securely connected and their data used.
